An e-display for the blind

In a world of Internet-ready refrigerators and autonomous cars, is a bigger, cheaper and more efficient Braille reader too much to ask for? Sile O'Modhrain -- the first blind sound engineer at BBC Network Radio -- didn't think so. In this talk, O'Modhrain describes how she collaborated with a University of Michigan engineering team to build "the Holy Braille," a revolutionary new tactile display.
